ABOUT THE 4OUR MAN RUSH
The birth of The 4 Man Rush began with four good friends named Kevin Avery, Will Harris, Larry Reynolds, and Monty Fetti Jr., who are lifelong Carolina Panthers fans. We have not been satisfied with the way the national media portrays what is going on with the franchise, so we formed a chat group on Facebook. For months, we discussed everything we did and did not think was the truth about our team. The idea eventually evolved to form a sports talk page on Facebook, and to also have a Podcast that would show and explain the complex details about the Panthers, in a simplified format for all fans to enjoy. We are constantly evolving and developing a format that will keep you in the know with our team. We will share updated news, Coaches Film by All 22 with all types of breakdown and analysis, statistical information from credible sources, logical unbiased discussions, and various avenues for Panther Nation fans to join in on our discussions and share their own opinions and perspectives.
Our slogan is “We want to be factual, logical and credible.” We want to be factual because we need to share the complete truth, regardless if it reflects in a positive or negative way. We want to be logical because as passionate fans our emotions can overtake clear-cut football common knowledge, and we want to always focus on established fundamentals and proven principles. We want to be credible because we owe it to our fans to share this information from valid sources that have access to the players, coaches, and front office personnel.
Our hashtag that we chose is #WhatARush. When thinking about the Carolina Panthers it should generate an internal feeling inside of you that enhances the flow of your adrenaline. The whole football atmosphere around you begins to shift into a steady throbbing heartbeat that comes from the history of the late great Sam Mills II giving his infamous “Keep Pounding” speech during the 2003 season. Once it peaks at its climax it comes out of us the same way it did the former Pro Wrestling tag team The Road Warriors. “Oooooooooh what a rush!”

The Panthers have endured two joint practices in as many weeks, with an unimpressive preseason loss against the Baltimore Ravens. For many players, snaps have become more valuable. With training camp officially over, the battle for roster spots is over halfway complete. For some players, it’s already too late to prove their value. For others,

Today was the final “ramp up” acclamation practice before fully padded practices tomorrow, August 3. The results of today’s practice were heavy in the defense’s favor. Instead of the usual drills of 1 on 1,

Boy doesn’t it feel good to get a big decisive win? Waking up this morning celebrating a 20-0 victory, after coming off a five game losing streak, truly does the soul some good and was right on time too. With Thanksgiving just a couple of days away Sunday’s game gave us a lot to be

This past week the Carolina Panthers suffered a close loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. A continuing narrative amongst national media and Panther nation alike is that starting QB Teddy Bridgewater hurts the offense by not pushing the ball downfield. In this article I will take a closer look at some of Teddy’s missed deep

I went to sleep early Thursday night just to wake up to watch that crap game that we were subjected to look at. This was easily the worst performance that we’ve seen all year. Full disclosure: If you are looking for a nice fluff piece about last night’s loss, this won’t be the one. We

Losing to any divisional rival at any point of the season, regardless of the record of each team, is never fun. Sigh! I know I know. However, after watching yesterday’s game it’s actually kind of hard to be entirely disappointed about the overall outcome. Sure I get it! It’s never fun to lose and moral

By Monty Fetti After five weeks of football with a 3-2 record, I think we all can agree that this Carolina Panthers team is a lot better prepared for the 2020 season than we all originally expected. Coach Matt Rhule made it very clear earlier this year that he had no intentions on waiting until

The Carolina Panthers enter Week 5 of the 2020 season riding a two game win streak. After an impressive win against an explosive Arizona Cardinals team in Week 4, the Panthers enter as favorites against a struggling Atlanta Falcons team. While the Falcons have played stints of really good football, they struggle to close football

By: Monty Fetti Jr. To say that it’s been a crazy first month of football in the NFL, especially for our Carolina Panthers, it would be an huge understatement. From beginning the year with no OTAs, no mini camp, no full training camp and no preseason games, to starting the season off 0-2, to losing

By: Vince Holmes A slow start to the Rhule Era of the Carolina Panthers to start the season. Untimely injuries and inconsistent play among other things have contributed to the Panthers 0-2 start for this season. While it hasn’t been all bad for the Panthers, the players have been able to compete enough to be

So after dramatically crying myself to sleep and after washing the stinch of yesterday’s UGLY loss off, I am finally back and ready to discuss what happened in the matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by our Carolina Panthers. Let’s just jump right into it. Week 2 Hot Takes w/ Monty ● The Tale of

Panthers at Buccaneers 1:00 Well, that’s not the way fans wanted to start the Matt Rhule Era. There were some things to like about the team (mainly on offense), but there were also some things to work on. The Carolina defense looked lost at times, but you’ll have that when there is so much inexperience.

The 2020 NFL Season is finally here! Beyond all of the trying times of COVID-19 and the never ending battle against Social Injustice in America, the Carolina Panthers return to football has come back with perfect timing. We have a lot of different things to break down and cover so let’s jump right into it.

A new era begins Sunday afternoon in Charlotte NC and there will be new faces all over Bank of America Stadium. With all the uncertainty and unfamiliarity surrounding the 2020 season, predicting the outcome seems almost impossible. However, I believe not having a preseason works in the Panthers favor on Sunday. The unorthodox off-season offers

Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper held a virtual press conference today with the local Charlotte sports media. He spoke on a variety of different topics and answered several questions. Here is a recap of what he said: There has been significant improvement with diversity throughout the franchise on both the management level and the work

A new era is among us with uncertainty, confusion and even anger from some fans not happy with the perceived direction of the franchise. It’s important to remember the Panthers haven’t won a playoff game since that glorious night of the NFC championship game of the 2015 season. A breathe of fresh air was needed

At this point in every training camp the enemies of progress are: Time, Health and Fatigue. Coach Rhule and his coaching staff have identified a fourth adversary: Monotony. On Tuesday August 25 the team was separated into two groups by the assistant coaches; first-string offense and second-string defense versus the first-string defense and second-string offense.

The 2020 Carolina Panthers training camp is one with many unique circumstances. For the first time in franchise history, the Panthers training camp headquarters is not located at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Instead, it makes its Queen City debut at the confines of Bank of America Stadium and the Atrium Health Dome aka

Well, this was an exciting draft, wasn’t it? After using free agency to fix the offense, Carolina came into the draft with a plan to fix the defense. Matt Rhule and Marty Hurney had a solid plan and executed it to perfection. On paper, they fixed the run defense, pass rush and began fixing the

In this scenario, I decided against trading up. Here are the possibilities if the Panthers stand pat with the picks we have. ROUND 1 PICK 7 CB CJ Henderson, Florida The Panthers could decide to trade back into the early teens for a chance at Henderson. But I believe that the Panthers will look at

The time is finally upon us. It’s draft week and Panther Nation is awaiting to see who Carolina picks. The Panthers could go multiple ways in the draft, but they have a lot of holes on the defensive side of the ball. Here’s my final mock of the season: ROUND 1 **TRADE** **The Cleveland Browns

The NFL draft is less than a week away, and the Carolina Panthers should have a lot of options at pick seven. With the team concentrating on offense in free agency, they will likely look at mostly defense in the draft. They will look at every option available, but there’s no doubt that Carolina has

This is part four of the five part series about how Carolina can become relevant sooner rather than later. Part three was about some free agents that Carolina could look at to fill some open spots on their roster. This article is about some players that need to be targeted in the draft. This is

This is part three of a series that talks about how the Panthers can become relevant again sooner, rather than later. Part two discussed the Panthers’ own free agents and who to re-sign. Part three is about potential free agent targets for Carolina. All of this could change, as some of these players will be

This is the second part of my mock draft that includes scenarios where I was offered more picks by trading back. In the 1st round the Las Vegas Raiders offered me their #12 and #19 overall picks for my #7 overall. Later on in the 4th round the Raiders offered me their 4th round pick

I decided to do my mock draft a little different. Part 1 is without the any trades being done with the original seven draft picks. Here are the players I chose and the logic behind each one. Round 1 (7th overall): Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama At 6-1 and 192 lbs Jerry Jeudy has all of

Over the course of the next few weeks, there will be a lot of visits from college prospects for the Carolina Panthers. This is the time of year where we get ramped up for the draft, so we will be doing some mock drafts based on information we are given about visits. This is a

This series is about how to bring the Panthers back to relevance sooner, rather than later. In part one, you learned about some of the cuts that should be coming, to help the Panthers gain some salary cap space. In part two, I will give my opinion on who Carolina should re-sign and who they

This has been a rough offseason for Carolina Panthers’ fans, filled with ups and downs. They’ve had to endure tons of speculation about the future of Cam Newton in Carolina, since week two. The hiring of Coach Matt Rhule made things a little better, after a five win season. There has been a lot of

Seahawks at Panthers 1:00 The Falcons just continue to have our number. Interim head coach, Perry Fewell, didn’t really have an answer for Atlanta once the team started turning the ball over. I don’t condone tanking or trying to lose, but it could be happening whether we like it or not. Where’s Cam when we

With the loss on Sunday, the Panthers moved from pick 14 to pick 12. Looking at the remaining schedule, it’s likely that Carolina will lose the rest of the games. Unless, of course, they pull off a miracle or the Saints sit their starters in week 17 again. There are three teams with the same

There are only three games left in the season and Kyle Allen has started all but two of them. With the Panthers officially eliminated from playoff contention, it’s time to put Allen on the bench and play Will Grier. Kyle Allen has started 11 games, and has won five of them. Not singlehandedly, but the

Ever since week two, the talking heads in the media have written him out of Carolina. On September 15th, Michael Vick gave his bold prediction on Fox NFL Sunday that Cam wouldn’t be with the Panthers in 2020. It hasn’t stopped since that day. Analysts will tell their audience that Cam is washed up in

Panthers At Falcons 1:00 Well, that was a bad loss. So bad, that it cost Ron Rivera his job. We would like to thank Coach Rivera for everything he’s contributed to the team and wish him luck in the future. There’s no doubt that he will be a solid head coach elsewhere. Now, let’s look

The search for a new head coach in Carolina begins now. On Tuesday, December 3rd, Ron Rivera was fired from the Carolina Panthers. Rivera had been the head coach since 2011 and had a record of 76-63-1. In 2015, Rivera led the Panthers to Super Bowl 50, where they fell to the Denver Broncos. In

Panthers VS Redskins 1:00 That was a hard fought game, but the Panthers came up short. Or should I say, they came up wide right. Kyle Allen had a good game, as he does in domes, and he put them in position to win. However, the defense looked lost at times and kicker Joey Slye

Never had a chance. Falcons have had our number over the last four years. Our defense finally figured out how to stop the run, but our pass defense stumbled. Kyle Allen’s turnovers killed drives and led to Atlanta points. This whole team crumbled. However, the Panthers still control their destiny, so Panther Nation needs to

One of the biggest question marks heading into the 2019 season for the Carolina Panthers was how well was the offensive line going to perform. On paper, the unit looked very promising and poised to dominate. The retirement of long time team captain and leader, center Ryan Kalil, left a void that was filled in

The Panthers have looked awful the past few weeks. The defense has been bad, the blocking has been spotty and the quarterback play has been less than average. Obviously there are a number of variables that go into wins and losses, but it all falls on number seven. After all, when the Panthers lost under

Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers 1:00 Well, this was a winnable game, but costly mistakes hurt us. Rumor has it, Aaron Jones is still running through our defense. Kyle Allen made some mistakes, but showed poise in the face of adversity. In snowy conditions, Allen and company orchestrated a drive that almost gave them an

Is Cam Newton done in Carolina? This is a topic that has been discussed at nauseam for the past two months. When Cam was placed on injured reserve, it seemed to cause a media frenzy. Everyone with a computer seemed to type up an article about how Cam has played his last game as a

When Cam Newton went down with a foot injury in week 2, it seemed as though the Panthers were destined to be one of the league’s worst. In came Kyle Allen, who led the team to a 5-4 record, with a lot of help from Christian McCaffrey and the defense. While it has been fun

Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers 4:25 I predicted a 30-17 win for Carolina, but I was off by 3. I’ll try to be better this time. Carolina got back to their winning ways against Tennessee, and CMC continues his historic pace. There are still things that need to be improved, but overall this was
